I will be away for a little while…
April 3, 2010
This was April, 2010 NOT April 2011. UPDATE Added for below post: Madi is 3 weeks post op, and is healing wonderfully! I am officially back from my break, so feel free to email me with any session inquiries… Thanks to everyone for your healing thoughts, prayers, & support! <3
Hi there, I hope you are all enjoying the first taste of Spring!
I just wanted to let you all know that over the next couple of months, I will be taking a break from sessions for Babies due between now and June, with the exception of those already paid/booked. My oldest daughter Madi (14, the beautiful girl pictured above) was diagnosed with “Pectus Excavatum” and is having surgery to correct it at the end of April at Childrens in Seattle. It is an invasive surgery with a long recovery period, and I need to limit my sessions so I can focus my attention on her since I will only get one week off of my regular day job.
I will begin taking sessions again in June. Email me if you need a referral for a Photographer, I have a few local photog friends who would probably love to take pics of your new baby!
Thanks for your support, prayers and complication-free thoughts! <3

Josh Durias: Hope all goes well Kristen!
Ann: Oh Kristen, I'm just heartbroken to hear about Maddie! Please email me and let me know how things are going. I'll definitely send prayers for a safe and successful surgery. I'll be thinking about you! Sending love and hugs! (p.s. That photo of Maddie is GORGEOUS!)
