My last session of 2011 was spent with a beautiful, teeny-tiny little peanut named Emma. She is the epitome of what I hope to enjoy in my life in 2012; Contentment, Love, Peace, Hope, Presence, and New Beginnings. What a precious little soul I was honored to spend today with.

What a wonderful day!

I got to spend time with the sweetest teeny 4 day old twins today, baby Benjamin & Baby Henry, as well as my very good friend and fellow photographer Julie Harrell.  Couldn’t have done this without you Jewels!

What loves.  They slept, and slept, and slept some more!  Usually with twins there are mostly individual shots of each baby while the other one might be fussy or needing to eat, and a newborn photographer just hopes and prays for at least ONE decent shot of them together not screaming.  Today, these little guys surpassed any expectations I had for this session. I got so many wonderful shots of them together, it was hard to choose just a couple to post today!  However, my weary eyes from my recent move and trying to get my new studio set up just enough to be usable have helped me keep the editing under control.

Thank you -L- & -N- for sharing your beautiful baby boys with Julie and I today.  We both are still in love with these little guys, it was hard to give them back.

I am so very lucky.  I get to love on tiny brand new beings, and share in the new parents’ joy because their family has become just a little bit bigger. It brightens my week. <3

Meet little miss Arianna! 5 days old, she is just the cutest little thing. Such a sweet, laid-back, beautiful baby.

I met Dustin and Cristina over 2 years ago when I had the honor of taking big sister Airabella’s Newborn Photos. Seems like it was yesterday, I can’t believe she’s 2 already!

Baby Oliver was pretty special little guy today, and blessed me with a few firsts.  He was the biggest baby I’ve ever photographed weighing in at a beautiful, chubby, squeezable 12 lbs. at birth. He was also the very first baby to not pee or poop during a session! Believe me, THAT is a miracle.

{Baby Will, 21 days new}

I was so lucky to meet baby Will today for my first session of 2011.

He really didn’t like to be posed, moved, or disrupted from being with his mama, so we really had to work today.  :)   I did get lots of time to cuddle him though, what a sweet, completely adorable little boy.  Thanks so much for sharing him with me!

I just wanted to update my friends and clients about my recent lack of posts.

I started working at Wade King Elementary School in September when school started this fall.  I am in a LifeSkills K-2 (Special Needs) Classroom Monday through Friday, and am loving the sweet little beings I get to work with every day.  However, this is making it difficult to take as many sessions as I used to.

I am still ready to take Newborn sessions and still needing to get my baby fix, but am now only taking a limited amount of sessions per month.  So if you are interested in having me take pictures of your Newborn once he/she arrives, email me sooner rather than later!

Hope you all have a joyful, peaceful, & beautiful end to the year. I personally can’t WAIT for *SNOW*!

I was so lucky today to be able to love and cuddle Sweet baby A today.  She made her mommy wait an extra couple of weeks for her appearance into this world, and she was soooo worth the wait.  10 lbs of sweetness, she made my heart melt <3
